Baby girl onesies

I told you I'd be crafting baby girl things non-stop. My brain won't turn off! I remembered how much fun I had decorating little boy onesies and started thinking of all the things I could iron-on to little girl onesies. I pulled out some of Brandon's old while onesies and I am planning on getting more to decorate. I got out some fabric scraps and some iron-on transfer paper. I used my Cricut to cut out the shapes I wanted on regular paper and just traced it onto the transfer paper and....voila!

Fabric Headband

I love Make It and Love it. She's such a genius when it comes to sewing! I was looking through her tutorials trying to find some baby girl crafts and I found something I could make for myself! Fabric headbands! I had some left over fabric from baby girl's stocking and nothing to do today so I whipped this baby out in just a few minutes. I've never really liked elastic headbands because they make the back of my hair do weird things but with this I was able to make it as loose as I wanted to make it comfortable and tight enough so that it wouldn't fall off. I gotta make more!
I know the ends of my headband aren't nearly as pretty as hers. Oh well. No one sees that part anyway, right?

Another Christmas Stocking

Ok, so, I may be getting a little ahead of myself now that we know baby #2 is a girl but I just couldn't help myself! I'm too excited about all the projects I can do for a little girl. Here is my first one. It's probably a little too early to be making Christmas stockings but I don't even care!

I just think this is too cute. I was a little worried that the pink polka dots would clash with the red fabric but I love it! And I'm not confident enough right now to iron on the name so that will just have to come later.

Mod Podge Headband

I've been wanting to get some cute headbands for a long time now since they are so in style and so cute. But all the ones I found at the store weren't cute at all... Then I had an idea. *lightbulb* Why don't I just decorate some plain headbands? Then I can make them look however I want them to!

I bought a 3-pack of headbands and Walmart for about $4 and got out some scraps of fabric. I cut a strip of fabric 1 1/2 inches wide and 14 inches long, enough to completely cover the headband.

Then I applied Mod Podge to the outside and edges of the headband and stuck the fabric on.

I applied more Mod Podge to the fabric when it was secured to the headband.

I knew I had seen a way to make fabric flowers but I was having trouble finding some tutorials. I found this video that showed a very simple way to make some! She uses fabric glue and I would probably recommend that too because I burned myself a few times using my hot glue gun. But that worked perfectly too. Whatever you have on hand.

When the headband was all dry I hot glued my flower to it. Here it is! It's too bad none of my maternity clothes go with this headband... Oh wait, I have 2 more headbands to make!

Birthday Card

While my parents are in Greece I am in charge of everyone's birthdays. I've made a couple of birthday cards already but forgot to take pictures of them!  Brandon's birthday is this Saturday so I made his card today. I'm not as creative as my sister Angie but I try :)
