The concept of this skirt was easy but it took me more than an hour to do (like the blogger said). You can find the tutorial here. The white part of the skirt is from an old sheet I've been using for various projects for a while. And I bought the black lace at walmart for $10.
I kinda feel like all that gathered fabric makes me look like a balloon when I wear it. A balloon on her way to the prom. What do you think? Does it flatter me or make me look like a balloon? Be honest.

Cardboard Tunnel
This was SO fun to put together. I got the idea from this blog. Brandon liked helping too :)
I started with an empty diaper box which I had to take completely apart and turn inside out so that the outside of the box would be plain. Then I cut out the tunnels on the sides.
I used duct tape and a permanent marker to make the road on top. Not as cute as the one on the blog but that's all I had so, oh well.
I colored rocks, stoplights and trees all over the box with crayons.
Brandon loves it!! And Katy likes to climb on it :)

Harvest Blessings Embroidery
I got this great printable here. I looked through her blog and found a post she did of another pumpkin embroidery. She used crayon to color the fabric and then placed a white sheet of paper over it and ironed it to transfer the wax, leaving on the color. Awesome! I always wondered how they did that. So I tried it. I LOVE how it turned out. You may be seeing more projects like this from me :)

Marriage Certificate Monogram
Another idea from Pinterest.
I wanted to modpodge the marriage certificate letter to a wooden letter but couldn't find any the size that I wanted. So I just printed it off on some cardstock and stuck it to a piece of card board covered with a plain piece of cardstock. You can't tell from this picture but I used those 3-D dots to give it some definition, like the wooden letter would have done. I think I will add a little lace bow or something in one of the corners. Yay!

BOO sign
My mom has one of these and I think it was my favorite Halloween decoration. Probably because it wasn't scary :) I was inspired by this post. So I bought some wooden letters at Joann's, painted the letters to match the paper and modpodged the paper to the letters. Then I tied them together with jute. I LOVE it!! I love Fall....
