Marriage Certificate Monogram

Another idea from Pinterest.
I wanted to modpodge the marriage certificate letter to a wooden letter but couldn't find any the size that I wanted. So I just printed it off on some cardstock and stuck it to a piece of card board covered with a plain piece of cardstock. You can't tell from this picture but I used those 3-D dots to give it some definition, like the wooden letter would have done. I think I will add a little lace bow or something in one of the corners. Yay!

BOO sign

My mom has one of these and I think it was my favorite Halloween decoration. Probably because it wasn't scary :) I was inspired by this post. So I bought some wooden letters at Joann's, painted the letters to match the paper and modpodged the paper to the letters. Then I tied them together with jute. I LOVE it!! I love Fall....

Baby Skirt

I got tutorials for this skirt here and here. I took one of my old shirts that I ripped a hole in a while ago. This was a super simple project that took less than an hour.

And turned into this. Yay!!

 

Toilet Paper Roll Art

 Since Sean's surgery I haven't had much time (or energy) to craft anything! But today I needed a sense of accomplishment. I NEEDED to craft :) A while ago I made this toilet paper roll wreath. After it had hung on the wall for a couple of days the weight of the wreath stretched it from a circle to an oval and I just didn't like the look of it.

So today I took it apart and recreated it. I was inspired by this TP art here.

First I hot glued 4 tp parts together to make a flower. Then I glued 4 flowers together to make a diamond shape. (Using it as a square was pretty cute too).

Then I made my own spray paint (2 parts paint and 1 part water). I hung them in our bathroom and I love how they turned out!!

Boards with words

I am always on the look out for idea of art to have in the kitchen. We need to fill those walls! I loved the idea of having a big knife and fork decal. So I found an image on Google and cut it out on some vinyl along with the word "EAT." Love it :)

Money Origami

Yes! I did those! This was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The videos make it look so easy!! But once I did it once, it wasn't too hard to do more. Heart video here. Shirt video here.
